St. Michaels - Megan Alyssa Fox of Royal Oak died of AIDS Monday, June 3, 1996, at her home. She was 11 years old. Born June 15, 1984 in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of Allan "Jay" Fox IV of Royal Oak and the late Carol Harper Fox, Megan was a strong advocate of AIDS awareness and had traveled with her father throughout the United States and Canada, telling her story about AIDS. In addition to her father, she is survived by her adoptive mother, Jeanne Hanrahan Fox; a sister, Kathleen Morris; one brother, Brad Morris; her grandparents, T. Walter and Irma S. Harper of St. Michaels; her grandfather, Allan J. Fox, III of Ingram, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, June 6 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, St. Michaels. Burial will be at Olivet Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Talbot County Hospice or to Garden of the Rock, St. Luke's United Methodist Church, St. Michaels. Arrangements are by Harrison E. Leonard Funeral Home, St. Michaels.
